Privacy Policy

Effective March 18, 2026

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to anyone who visits the Texas Business Grants website, submits a screening form, signs up for updates, completes a purchase, receives a report, or contacts us for support.

2. What We Collect

We collect only the information needed to screen your business against government grant and incentive programs and deliver your results. Here is exactly what we ask for:

Screening intake form

  • Business name
  • Entity type (LLC, corporation, sole proprietorship, etc.)
  • County where the business operates
  • Employee count
  • Annual revenue band
  • Years in business
  • Industry tags
  • Activity flags (exporting, hiring, R&D, etc.)
  • Certifications (HUB, DBE, 8(a), etc.)
  • Ownership tags (veteran-owned, woman-owned, etc.)

Report delivery and account

  • Email address — used to deliver your screening report

Interest and update sign-ups

  • Name and email address
  • Company name (optional)

Automatically collected

  • IP address, browser type, device info, referring pages, and timestamps — standard web analytics data collected by our hosting infrastructure
  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to distinguish unique visitors and understand site usage patterns

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We designed the intake form to require only the information needed for program matching. We do not collect:

  • Social Security numbers or personal tax IDs
  • Employer Identification Numbers (EINs)
  • Bank account or routing numbers
  • Credit or debit card numbers (see Payment section below)
  • Financial statements, tax returns, or balance sheets
  • Personal home addresses

If you ever feel we are asking for information beyond what is listed in Section 2, please contact us immediately — it may be a phishing attempt, not us.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Match your business profile against government grant and incentive programs and generate your screening report
  • Deliver your report to the email address you provide
  • Process your payment through Stripe
  • Respond to support requests, process refund reviews, and investigate disputes
  • Improve program matching accuracy, intake clarity, and report quality over time
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

5. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you check out, your card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment form. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or billing details. We receive only a payment confirmation, a transaction reference, and the last four digits of your card for receipt purposes.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate the product. Each provider only processes the minimum data needed to perform its role:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly and is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver your screening report and order confirmations.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, infrastructure, and security. Cloudflare processes standard web traffic data (IP addresses, request headers) as part of serving and protecting the site.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. GA4 may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on page, and general geographic location. GA4 uses cookies to distinguish unique users. Google’s privacy policy governs their handling of this data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

7. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners. Your information is used only to operate the screening service as described in this policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain your screening intake data and report results for up to two years from the date of purchase so you can access your report and so we can handle support requests, refund reviews, and dispute resolution.

Transaction records (payment confirmations, order references) are retained as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance — typically seven years.

Interest sign-up data (name, email) is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

If you would like your data deleted sooner, contact us at support@texasbusinessgrants.com.

9. Your Rights

You may contact support@texasbusinessgrants.com at any time to:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal and recordkeeping obligations
  • Unsubscribe from any marketing or update emails

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

10. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers with encrypted connections to our database. We do not store payment card information. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data, though no system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

This service is designed for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18.

12. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active customers when practical.

13. Contact

Questions about this privacy policy or how your data is handled should be sent to support@texasbusinessgrants.com.
