Texas Port Access Account Fund for Maritime Businesses

Texas Business Grants Research Team

The Texas Port Access Account Fund, administered through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) maritime division, supports infrastructure improvements at Texas ports that enhance commercial maritime operations and benefit businesses involved in trade, logistics, and maritime activities. As Texas ports handle hundreds of millions of tons of cargo annually, port infrastructure investments directly affect the competitiveness and efficiency of businesses that depend on port access for their supply chains and distribution networks.

Program Overview

Purpose

The Port Access Account Fund provides financial support for port improvement projects that enhance the capacity, efficiency, and competitiveness of Texas ports.
